An Iranian court had sentenced him to death by hanging after he was found in possession of 7.3 kilograms of crack, said Asadollah Jafari, prosecutor of Sari.
Iran ranks second, after China, in terms of the number of executions in the world. At least 852 people were executed in Iran from July 2013 to June 2014, according to the latest report of the UN special rapporteur on Human Rights in Iran, Ahmed Shaheed.
