IRAN. DRUG TRAFFICKER PUBLICLY HANGED

an Iranian man convicted of drug trafficking was publicly hanged in the south-eastern town of Iranshahr, the hard-line Kayhan daily reported. The man, identified as Ali Janmoradi, was hanged for smuggling 95 kilos (about 210 pounds) of opium and heroin in Sistan-Baluchestan province, the report said.
