According to a report received by Hengaw, at dawn on March 1, 2025, the death sentences of the two brothers from Cheshmeh-Gol village, Torbat-e Jam County, Razavi Khorasan Province—40-year-old Ebrahim Khalili-Far and 35-year-old Gholamhossein Khalili-Far—were carried out in Mashhad Central Prison (Vakilabad Prison).
The two brothers were arrested three years ago in a joint drug case.
With these executions, the total number of executed prisoners on Saturday at Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad has now reached eight. Previously, Hengaw had reported the executions of Asieh Ghavi Cheshm,Jalal Afaq, Masoud Yaghizayi (Barahouei), Hassan Shahraki, Mehrdad Kolbe-Ali and Aref Sediqpour.
