Elias Q. (Elias Gh) executed in Mashhad Prison on May 22.
According to Rokna News and Khorasan newspaper, on May 22, an inmate identified as Elias Q. (Elias Gh), age 29, was executed in Mashhad Prison. He was sentenced for murder by Branch Five of the Khorasan-Razavi Criminal Court. The man is alleged to have committed the murder during a staged car accident on 10 October 2018. His sentence was upheld by Branch 28 of the Supreme Court.
