October 21, 2025 - IRAN. Eslam Mir-Seyyedeh executed in Yazd on October 21.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Yazd Central Prison on 21 October. His identity has been established as Eslam Mir-Seyyedeh, a 59-year-old Afghan man arrested with his son Ahmad, 21, under three years ago. Eslam was sentenced to death on drug-related related charges. His son received a nine-year custodial sentence in the same case.
Hossein Mansouri Ali Abadi and Azim Dastavar were previously reported to have been executed, bringing the total number of executions to three at the prison that day.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
