According to a report received by Hengaw, at dawn on March 1, 2025, Esmail Mozaffari (27), a resident of Tehran, and Yaghoub Mirzajani (40), a father of two from Shahrek-e Rah Ahan, Tehran, were executed in Gorgan Central Prison.
Yaghoub Mirzajani had been in detention for four years and Esmail Mozaffari for three years on murder charges.
To date, the news of the execution of these prisoners has not been published by state media.
