According to a report received Hengaw, at dawn on Sunday, November 17, 2024, Faraj Sarmadi, a 32-year-old Turkish man from Zanjan, was hanged in Zanjan Central Prison. Sources close to the matter revealed that Sarmadi was arrested two years and five months ago on charges of “rape”.
As of the time of this report, state-affiliated media have not announced the execution.
