(April 30, 2023) - Feizollah Kavandi executed in Isfahan on April 30. Four other executions were postponed.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was executed in Isfahan Central Prison on 30 April. His identity has been established as Feizollah Kavandi, who was sentenced for murder.
Feizollah Kavandi was transferred from Najaf Abad Prison along with four others for execution at Isfahan Central Prison a few days ago. The other four prisoners who are also on death row for murder, were transferred to Ward 4 of the prison after the postponement of their executions.
At the time of writing, Feizollah Kavandi’s execution has not been reported inside Iran.
