IRAN: FIVE PEOPLE HANGED IN PUBLIC

Five men, whose names were not disclosed, were hanged in public in Iran's southern province of Fars, the Mehr news agency reported.
Four of them were executed in Shiraz city, meanwhile the fifth man was hanged in Marvdasht.
They were sentenced to death by Shiraz Revolutionary court on rape, kidnapping, armed robbery and drinking alcohol charges.
