(18/07/2023) - Ghasem Seyed Hosseini executed in Urmia on July 18.
Ghasem Seyed Hosseini, 50, Kurdish, from Mahabad, sentenced for murder, was executed in Urmia.
Hosseini was arrested 18 years ago on the charge of murder. In this regard, a source close to Seyed Hosseini's family told Hengaw that he was held for 18 years in Mahabad prison and was transferred to Urmia Central Prison last week in order to be executed.
As of the time of this reporting, the news of the execution of this prisoner has not been announced in the government media.
