According to information obtained by Hengaw, Qaderi was executed in the early hours of May 20, 2025, at Sanandaj Central Prison.
Qaderi, a Kurdish resident of Marivan, was arrested in September 2022 for his involvement in the widely publicized case concerning Shiler Rasouli.
Shiler Rasouli, 36, had visited Qaderi’s residence on September 3, 2022, after he requested assistance, citing his wife’s illness. Upon discovering that Qaderi’s wife was not present and that Qaderi intended to rap her, Rasouli attempted to escape by jumping from a window, sustaining critical injuries that led to a coma.
She died six days later while being treated in a hospital in Sanandaj (Sine). Her death provoked widespread protests, particularly among women’s rights activists in Marivan.
