May 1, 2024 - IRAN. Hadi Laveh, a Kurdish singer has been arrested.
According to a report obtained by Hengaw, on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, Hadi Laveh, a young Kurdish singer from Oshnavieh, was detained by the security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.
Based on credible reports, security officials cited his political poetry as the reason for detention during the arrest, and Laveh was violently apprehended without a legal warrant. As of now, the agency responsible for this arrest remains unknown.
At the time of reporting, the efforts of the Laveh family to ascertain the whereabouts of their son have been unsuccessful.
