With the two previously reported hangings, the number of executions at the prison has risen to three that day.

According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man wasa hanged in Karaj Penitentiary (Central Prison) on 27 May 2025. His identity has been established as 30-year-old Hamed Arjangi who was arrested four years ago for murder.

With the previously reported executions of Hossein Yari and Rahim Amiri, the number of executions at the prison has risen to three that day.

At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
