Hamid Avesti was executed in the central prison of Kermanshah on Aug. 4. According to HENGAW the young Kurdish man was found guilty in a murder case committed when he was under the legal age of 18. He was 24 years old at the time of his execution. He was issued a death penalty over a murder case when he was only 17 years old. Avesti was from Sefid Zangur village of Sanqar, in Kermnshah province. He spent the last six years behind the bars in Dizel-Abad prison. The execution of this prisoner has not been announced by the state-run media so far.
