IRAN HANGS FOUR FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING

four men convicted of smuggling 600 kilos of opium were hanged in the town of Birjand, in South Khorasan province of northeast Iran. The report carried by the semi-official Fars news agency did not identify the men or specify if the hangings were carried out in public or in a prison.
