IRAN HANGS MAN FOR RAPE, MURDER OF MINOR

Iran has hanged a man convicted of rape and murder in an execution carried out in a prison in the southern town of Estehban, the Kayhan newspaper reported. The man, identified only by his first name Edris F., 21, was found guilty of raping and killing a 15-year-old girl, the report said, without saying when the execution occurred.
