IRAN - Hossein Pourfayaz executed in Urmia on March 10

(March 10, 2023) - Hossein Pourfayaz executed in Urmia on March 10.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was executed in Urmia Central Prison on March 10. His identity has been established as Hossein Pourfayaz, who was sentenced to death for drug-related charges by the Revolutionary Court.
A source told IHR: “Pourfayaz was arrested for drug-related charges around five years ago and sentenced to death.
Iran Human Rights previously reported the execution of Saleh Ghassemi and Mansour Abdizadeh on that day at the prison.
At the time of writing, none of their executions have not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
