27/05/2025 - IRAN. Hossein Yari and Rahim Amiri (Darayi) executed in Karaj on May 27.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, two men were hanged in Karaj (Central Prison) Penitentiary on 27 May 2025. Their identities have been established as 30-year-old Hossein Yari from Khorramabad and Rahim Amiri (Darayi, photo), a 30-year-old Lor man from Harsin.
Hossein was arrested four years ago and Rahim, six years ago. They were sentenced for murder in separate cases.
At the time of writing, their executions have not been reported by domestic media or officials in Iran.
