June 15, 2025 - IRAN. Jafar Ezati (Ezzati) executed in Zanjan on June 15.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Zanjan Central Prison on 15 June 2025. His identity has been established as 40-year-old Jafar Ezati, a Turkish man from Zanjan.
He was arrested three years ago on drug-related charges. At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
