At dawn on March 5, a man was executed in Hamedan Prison. HRANA has identified him as Jalal Ashkani, a resident of Hamedan. According to information obtained by HRANA, Mr. Ashkani was arrested in 2020 on drug-related charges. As of the time of this report, authorities have not officially announced the execution.
