The death sentence of Jomaa Narouei (Shirzai), a 25-year-old undocumented Baloch man from Zahedan, was carried out early Sunday morning at Zahedan Central Prison. He had previously been convicted of murder.
According to information received by Hengaw, the execution took place at dawn on June 1, 2025.
As reported by Haalvsh, Narouei lacked official identification documents and was arrested on murder charges roughly seven years ago. He was transferred to solitary confinement on May 30, in preparation for the execution.
No state-affiliated media outlets have reported the execution.
