in a visit to Ardebil Province the head of the Iranian judiciary reviewed the legal and judicial problems of the people in this province. "Normally in legal matters the judiciary is the last resort. Many think the reason for the problems are a lack of punishment, but the question is does the execution stop corruption and smuggling?" Hashemi-Shahrudi insisted: "The solution to this problem is to identify and to correct the sources of these infections; this is not just the judiciary's responsibility and requires the help of all forces (the government and the Majlis)."
