January 4, 2026 - IRAN. Khosro Alishahi executed in Qom on January 4.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Qom Central Prison on 4 January 2026. His identity has been established as Khosro Alishahi, a 25-year-old man from the Azari neighbourhood of Tehran.
Amir was arrested around three years ago for allegedly killing someone during a street group fight. Other sources, and HoC, already reported the execution of Amin Elahi in the same prison the same day.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
