IRAN - Kiumars Zarghami executed in Saqqez on March 5

(March 5, 2023) - Kiumars (Kiyomarth) Zarghami executed in Saqqez Central Prison on March 5.
According to information obtained by IHR, a man was executed in Saqqez Central Prison on March 5. His identity has been established as Kiumars Zarghami who was sentenced for murder.
An informed source told IHR: “Kiumars Zarghami was from Divandareh and lived in Saqqez. He was arrested in May 2021 on the charge of murdering his fiancé.”
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by media inside Iran.
