IRAN - Majid Esmaeilzadeh, a minor at the time of the crime, was hanged on April 18 at the central prison of Ardabil.

Majid Esmaeilzadeh was hanged Saturday morning April 18, at the central prison of Ardabil. Some sources say he was under 18 at the time of the offence. IHR sources say he was arrested and sentenced to death for murder while he was between 16 and 17 years old. He was around 25 at the time of the execution. IHR is investigating the case.
