October 29, 2025 - IRAN. Majid Shahpasandi was executed in Zanjan on October 29.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Zanjan Central Prison on 29 October 2025. His identity has been established as Majid Shahpasandi, a 35-year-old Zanjan native who worked as a painter of electrical panels in a factory.
He was arrested three years ago and sentenced to death on drug-related charges.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
