IRAN. MAN HANGED FOR BANK RAID MURDERS

Ali Sookhtezadeh was hanged in public in Ahvaz, south-western Iran, for murdering five people during a bank robbery. Sookhtezadeh, 31, was convicted of killing four bank clerks and a salesman in a store next to the bank in Ahvaz, Khoozestan province, in March 2004.
