IRAN. MAN HANGED FOR CHILD RAPE AND MURDER

a young man convicted of child rape and murder was hanged in a prison in the northern Iranian province of Ardebil, the Hamshahri newspaper reported. The unnamed 26-year-old man had kidnapped, raped and killed a schoolboy in 2004 and buried the victim's body in his own yard. He was hanged in Ardebil city's prison.
