IRAN: MAN HANGED FOR RAPE

a man identified as Jamshid, 48, was hanged in Iran's southeastern city of Zahedan for raping a woman in April, the government daily Iran reported.
The report did not say when the hanging took place. It said he was an electrician who had called at the woman's house to undertake a repair job and then raped her and filmed the act after threatening his victim with a knife.
