The man, identified only by his first name Behzad, 34, was convicted of 340 counts of abduction in which he raped 175 of his victims. Hundreds of onlookers cheered as he was hanged from a crane. His 30-year-old wife, Anita, who was an accomplice in the crimes, was sentenced to 10 years in jail and 74 lashes.
