Mehdi Faraji executed in Isfahan on May 31.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man executed in Isfahan Central Prison on 31 May 2022. His identity has been established as Mehdi Faraji, sentenced for murder.
A source told Iran Human Rights: “Mehdi Faraji was transferred to solitary confinement in preparation for his execution with two other men. The other two prisoners managed to obtain extensions from their victims’ families and were returned to their cells.”
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
