According to reports received by Hengaw, on the morning of Saturday, November 16, 2024, Mehdi Gilani, from Rasht, and Mohammad Hossein Naderi, 29 years old and from Lahijan, were hanged in Lakan Prison.
Gilani was arrested three years ago, and Naderi two years ago, both on drug-related charges.
As of the time of this report, the executions of these prisoners have not been announced by state-affiliated media.
