Mehdi Lotfi executed in Ilam on November 23
According to the report received by the Hengaw human rights organization, the death sentence of a prisoner named Mehdi Lotfi from Eyvan-e Gharb city was carried out in the central prison of Ilam at dawn on November 23, 2022.
Lotfi was arrested three years ago and sentenced to death on the charge of premeditated murder.
Until the time of preparation of this report, the news of the execution of this prisoner had not been announced in the Iranian government media.
