According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was executed in Aligoudarz Prison on the morning of February 7. His identity has been established as 37-year-old Mirza Rouhifar, who was sentenced for murder. Speaking to Iran Human Rights, a source said: “Mirza Rouhifar was arrested 4 years ago on charges of murdering his neighbor over financial disputes, and sentenced to death.” At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media or officials in Iran.
