According to information received by Hengaw, on the morning of May 25, 2025, Mohammadreza Zare Moayedi, a Lor from the city of Beyza in Fars Province, and Mohammad Barzegari from Shiraz were executed at Shiraz Central Prison (Adelabad). Both had been sentenced to death for drug-related offenses.
Iranian state media have not publicly announced these executions.
