On April 30, two prisoners were executed in Sepidar Prison in Ahvaz.
HRANA has confirmed the identity of one of the executed individuals as Mohammad-Nabi Zirkari, a 53-year-old Baloch man from Mirjaveh, father of 7. According to information received by HRANA, Mr. Zirkari had been imprisoned for eight years on charges related to drug offenses before his execution. Hrana could not identify the other prisoner, who also was charged with drug related crimes. IHR later identified the second man as Ali Kabi, 25, sentenced for murder.
As of the time of this report, authorities have not officially announced the executions.
