Three other executions were already known.
On May 6, IHR updated a May 2 news story. 4 men, Mohammad Rasoul Khoshkar, Saeed Ranjdoust, Saber Aminabadi and Mehdi Habibi, were executed a in Tabriz Central Prison on May 2. Other sources had already warned of 3 executions, those of Ranjdoust, Aminabadi and Habibi.
Mohammad Rasoul Khoshkar, 53, is to be added today. A source told IHR: “Khoshkar was arrested for the rape and murder of a 15-year-old girl and received the death penalty for both charges. The victim’s family were present at the execution”.
At the time of writing, none of their executions have been reported by domestic media or officials in Iran.
