Iranian authorities have carried out the public execution of a man identified as Mohammad Zakiri on charges of rape in Bushehr Province.
According to information Hengaw received on December 22, the execution was carried out at dawn on December 2, 2025, at Borazjan Cemetery, in the presence of the public.
Zakiri was originally from Goldasht village in Bushehr Province. He was arrested seven years ago on charges of raping and killing an eight-year-old girl.
State media outlets have not reported the public execution.
