A ‘protester’
Based on information received by HRANA, Mohsen Babaeian, one of those arrested during the January 2026 protests, has been sentenced to death on the charge of “moharebeh” (enmity against God).
Mr. Babaeian was sentenced by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Iman Afshari. The ruling was communicated to Mohsen Babaeian yesterday, October 5.
Mohsen Babaeian is currently being held in Greater Tehran Prison.
