Unnamed man executed in Rasht on July 28
According to Rokna, a man was executed in Rasht Central Prison on July 28. His identity has only been reported as M. F., a 27-year-old conscript who was arrested for the murder of Omid Chayi, a police officer last October.
Local websites had previously reported that the victim was in charge of the Lahijan Province Public Service Department and repeatedly denied the executed man’s request for an exemption from service. The man was later identified as Morteza Falah-Delavar
