The death sentences of two Kurdish prisoners, Mousa Bakhshi from Asadabad and Farzad Rashidi from Kermanshah, were carried out in Lakan Prison, Rasht on September 11. Their executions had not been reported until now.
According to reports received by Hengaw on December 17, Mousa Bakhshi, 33, from Asaadabad in the district of Hamadan, and Farzad Rashidi, 37, from Kermanshah, were executed in Lakan Prison, Rasht in the early hours of September 11, 2024.
These two prisoners were sentenced to death on charges related to drug offences
Hengaw previously reported the executions of Mostafa Amani, Nasrollah Pirasteh and Arman Ataei carried out on the same date in Lakan Prison.
With the executions of Mousa Bakhshi and Farzad Rashidi, the total number of individuals executed in Lakan Prison on September 11, 2024, has risen to five.
