January 22, 2025 - IRAN. Naser Zandipour and Nader Minaeifar executed in Yazd on January 22
According to a report received by Hengaw on January 31, at dawn on January 22, 2025, Naser Zandipour, 30, and Nader Minaeifar, 28, were executed in Yazd Central Prison.
Zandipour had been in detention for approximately three years, while Minaeifar had been held for two years, both convicted on drug-related charges.
Hengaw had also reported the execution of another prisoner on the same day—Ahmad Sasouli. All three prisoners were denied a final visit with their families before their executions. Hrana, on the other hand, had written of 4 executions: Sasouli plus 3 unidentified men. Despite the diversity of sources, today it can be said that Zandipour and Minaeifar are 2 of (perhaps) three unidentified men.
As of the time of this report, state media and official sources have not announced these executions.
