According to a report received by Hengaw, at dawn on Monday, September 30, 2024, the death sentence of an Afghan prisoner Nesar Ahmad Rahmati was carried out at Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad.
This prisoner was arrested five years ago in Mashhad on drug-related charges and sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.
It is noteworthy that Nesar Ahmad Rahmati was transferred to solitary confinement yesterday in preparation for the execution, which was carried out without his family being informed and without a final visit with his relatives.
