A prisoner was hanged on the charge of rape at Gorgan Central Prison on 4 December 2018.
According to Mizan Online News Agency, the prisoner was sentenced to death for raping a 13 years old child. He was executed on the morning of 4 December 2018, at the northern city of Gorgan’s prison.
The whole process leading to the prisoner’s execution, from the arrest to carrying out the verdict, only took place in 6 months.
