IRAN: PRISONER HANGED AT RAJAI SHAHR PRISON

According to a close source, on the morning a prisoner was executed at Rajai Shahr Prison. The prisoner, charged with murder, was identified as Reza Hamidi.
The prisoner was transferred to the solitary confinement from ward 10 of Rajai Shahr Prison on May 7.
A close source told Iran Human Rights, “Reza was sentenced to death on the charge of murdering his mother-in-law and he failed to gain the consent of the plaintiffs.”
The execution of this prisoner has not been announced by the state-run media so far.
