April 12, 2025 - IRAN. Rabi Shah-Morad and Wasim Ahmad executed in Qazvin on April 12
Two Afghan nationals, Rabi Shah-Morad and Wasim Ahmad, were executed in Qazvin Central Prison.
According to a report received by Hengaw, the execution was carried out at dawn on April 12, 2025 in Qazvin Central Prison.
Shah-Morad, 27, and Ahmad, 40, were both originally from Kunduz province in Afghanistan. The two were uncle and nephew, and had been arrested three years ago in connection with a joint case involving drug trafficking. As of the time of this report, state-run media have not announced the executions.
