According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, after Esmail Barekzaei, a second man was executed in Yazd Central Prison on 28 November. The second man has been identified as Rahim Esmailpour, 33, an Afghan national sentenced for murder.
A source told IHR: “Rahim Esmailpour was from Ardakan and was transferred to Yazd Central prison from Ardakan Prison for execution.”
At the time of writing, their executions have not been reported by domestic media or officials in Iran.
