According to reports received by Hengaw, at dawn on Sunday, November 17, 2024, the death sentences of Rahim Faqiri, Kurdish, 34 years old, father of three children and a resident of Salmas, and Parviz Barahoui, a Baloch from Zahedan, were carried out in Birjand Central Prison.
Sources close to Rahim Faqiri’s family stated that he had been arrested for the past year on drug-related charges. Similarly, Parviz Barahoui had been arrested two years prior in Birjand on drug-related charges. To date, the news of the execution of these prisoners has not been announced by state media
