IRAN - Rahim Ghaljaei executed in Birjand on July 31

(July 31, 2023) - Rahim Ghaljaei (Ghaljayi) executed in Birjand on July 31.
According to IHR, on Monday, July 31, a Baloch prisoner named Rahim Ghaljaei, 46 years old and resident of Mashhad, father of one child, was executed in Birjand Central Prison. Rahim was arrested for drug-related charges in Birjand around two years ago. His execution was carried out without his family being notified and the right to a last visit.
