On October 16, 2025, 25-year-old Reza Yousefi, a resident of Qom, was executed in Qom Central Prison. He had been arrested about four years earlier after allegedly stabbing two individuals during a fight, which resulted in one death and one permanent injury.
The execution of this prisoner has not been reported by state-controlled media.
